Montreal’s amazing Candi Bar

I paid a much-anticipated return visit to the very sugary Candi Bar during my weeklong trip to Montreal. The restrooms (and cocktails) at this bar are among the sweetest in all of Montreal.

Firstly, get a load of these ๐Ÿ‘„ urinals:

Aren’t they adorable?!

If that’s not cool enough then how about this circus-themed stall in the mens room?

And finally in their unique ladies room you can even bring a friend!

Artistic porcelain at Cinko

Toilography had been to Cinko before but here’s a few snaps from my most recent visit. Its one of my Montreal favourites because of the awesome black & white artwork painted on the porcelain.

I remember last time I was here the throne was cracked so it looks like they’ve since replaced it with a shiny new one!

Crows Nest Barbershop

Howโ€™s this for a barber shop restroom! Cheers for the cut, Crows Nest Barbershopย ๐Ÿ’‡โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿšฝ

Atmosphere Cafe + Etc

The very charming atmosphere cafe + etc in Guelph has 5 themed restrooms, one each for fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ, earth ๐ŸŒ, metal โš™๏ธ, wood ๐ŸŒณ and water ๐Ÿ’ง

Mosaic toilets at Venice Cafe

I went to St Louis with some friends to see the Solar Eclipse! One particular place I really wanted to check out was the Venice Cafe as a friendly tipster on Reddit suggested it to be worthy of a Toilography visit. Not only were their magnificently mosaiced toilets a huge drawcard, the whole damn venue was one of the funkiest, artsiest bars I’ve ever been to. It’s up there with the Papermoon Diner in Baltimore.

Here’s the walk down to the beautiful basement shitters:

And here are some of the other captivating pieces of art throughout the building, both toilets and non-toilets.ย The bartender told us that every day at least one new piece of art is added to the collection.

Toki Underground

DC is full of ramen bars with cool toilets. This one was at Toki Underground along the H-Street Corridor (it isn’t actually underground, by the way). Both stalls were plastered in these funky anime comics ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿšฝ

A return visit to Oki Bowl

I’m in Washington DC this weekend and paid a return visit to the incredible Oki Bowl. Not only is it one of my favourite toilets in the world but it’s also one of my favourite ramen joints ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿšฝ
